This adventurous Pashley Clubman is being auctioned off for charity by Alistair Cope, who rode this trusted steed in his remarkable Pedal and Paddle challenge from Edinburgh to Exeter. He has said it is going to be very hard to let it go, but he is very pleased that the proceeds of the auction will be going towards worthy causes. If you would like to bid for this unique Clubman, you can do so via the following ebay link….eBay Auction for the Adventurous Clubman.
Pashley Cycles would like to pass on its heartiest congratulations to Alistair who has taken on the waterways and highways of the UK from Edinburgh to Exmouth on his Papete challenge. He completed the epic journey on Saturday 15th September taking on over 500 miles of road and 150 miles of canal and river.
He has ridden a Pashley Clubman for the road sections and now plans to auction the bike on e-bay for his chosen charities.
Details will follow on this soon but for now we’d just like to say CHAPEAU MR COPE!
300 miles of water and 390 miles of land! Alistair Cope is travelling from Edinburgh to Exmouth in a Flaxland Canoe and on a Pashley Clubman. It was lovely to see him this week as he stopped off at the Pashley Factory to say hello en route. You can follow his fascinating journey and see daily pictures on his diary page….www.papete.co.uk
The new Pashley SPEED 5 is inspired by the spirit of historic, record-breaking speed endeavours when racers were gentlemen rather than professionals, when prizes were noble rather than fiscal. It is a lively performer, possessing an understated personality and style, ready to serve the more dynamic rider.
The new Pashley Countryman has real character brazed with care into every beautifully lugged joint of its Reynolds 531 steel frame. This character is brought to life with some clever, modern componentry choices and more traditional, leather contact points. We believe it is a capable fellow but the only real way to test the Countryman’s character is to ride it. You won’t find it wanting.
The beautiful, clean, straight lines of the new Pashley Aurora reflect its ride characteristics; direct, nippy and agile. It will happily see you through a busy rush hour commute. Alongside this the compliance and subtle spring of the lightweight Reynolds 531 steel frame also means that long days in the saddle or even substantial touring trips won’t leave you feeling bounced around and leg weary at the end of the ride. It is a true all-rounder.
We are very pleased to announce that Pashley has been nominated for the ‘Best of Midlands Design’ award. It is part of the ‘Birmingham Made Me’ event happening this month which is celebrating the very best in design and innovation.
