‘The Very Best’ British Moustaches

November 22, 2011

This is a great shot of the Guv’nor and its owner sporting a very presentable Moustache! It’s featured in the first UK edition of The Moustache Calendar, titled “The Very Best” in celebration of the rich heritage of the moustache in the United Kingdom, and of Great British Brands.

The net profits of sales will be donated to Movember, an annual charity event held during the month of November that raises awareness and funds for research into cancers affecting men.

A Guv’nor Jolly

August 18, 2011

These are some of the jolly chaps from the Guv’nor Owners Club who recently participated in a jaunt around the county of Warwickshire on their Guv’nors, and visited Pashley and The Traditional Cycle shop whilst on route. They had “beautiful weather, great company, and smashing cycling routes provided by Rob from Shakespokes Cycling Club… altogether the recipe for a great weekend”. It’s lovely to see so many Guv’nors out enjoying the Great British countryside.

One-off Tweed Run Clubman

March 31, 2011

We are grateful for the comments we receive about the “beautiful bicycles and tricycles” we make here at Pashley. We’re very proud of that fact and do try our best to please! Every now and again though we make something so beautiful we are loathed to sell it.  It does feel odd that in the case of the stunning, one off, Tweed Run Clubman we have chosen to give it away, but it is for a worthy cause, as money raised through the eBay auction for the bike will go directly to Bikes4Africa.

Please visit the Tweed Run website for further information.

Pashleys for the whole family

August 16, 2010

Congratulations to Helen Johnson and her family who were the winners of the Joules ‘Cycle Into Spring’ competition. They each received a Pashley bicycle of their choosing, along with a bottle of bubbly, presented to them at the Joules Marlborough store at the beginning of August.

It’s wonderful to know that a whole family will be out and about on Pashley bicycles; we hope that they have many enjoyable cycling adventures together.

To Paris on a Princess

July 2, 2010

London to Paris on a Pashley Princess

Congratulations to Christine Avis and Mylène Baxter who cycled all the way from London to Paris on Pashley Princess Sovereigns.

Christine says… “Everyone told us we were mad to choose bicycles which have only 5 gears. We were set on the idea however, as we were sure we would stand out amongst the many that now travel this route for charity. We certainly had some interested looks during the months of training and during the 3 days of the trip. We cycled a total of 300 kilometres and our Pashleys did us proud: no punctures and no other problems either; we could even sit down at the end of the trip. Most importantly of all, we are well on the way to raising £7000 for Parkinson’s which was the real reason for making this epic journey.”

One of Pashley’s own will also be cycling the famous London to Paris route on his Moulton TSR this year, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. John Conod, Sales Executive, hopes to raise at least £1400 for this worthy cause by stretching himself and his legs beyond his usual 9 mile ride to and from work!

To read more about both of these London to Paris adventures, visit the Just Giving pages…paris 4 parkinsons and John Conod.
