The Angel Riders on the Pashley Clubmans in Morzine at the end of their epic ride.

What a ride!

Huge congratulations to the Angel Riders for completing their mammoth 8 day, 844 mile (1,351km) cycle ride from Barcelona to Morzine on Pashley 3 speed Clubmans.

All at Pashley would like to say a huge “congratulations” to the Angel Riders for completing their mammoth 8 day, 844 mile (1,351km) cycle ride from Barcelona to Morzine. They climbed a total of 20,146 meters (the equivalent to riding to the top of Mt Everest, two and a quarter times) over the Pyrenees, across southern France and in to the high Alps; the Galibier mountain pass even had 5 meter snow banks on the side of the road and had only just opened when the chaps reached it!

They arrived in Morzine to a warm welcome from locals, friends and family having raised around £30,000. It was an emotional finish with Malcolm, Nick, Iain and Ian all feeling the triumph of having cycled over some of the most famous mountain passes in Europe, and knowing that all the money and support they had raised was going to a very important charity.

If you would like to show your support and donate to the Angel Ride, raising money for the Lavender Trust, you still can through the following link...www.justgiving.com/angelride2012  Well done chaps!
