Is this compatible with Brooks saddles?
Yes, this is the saddle clamp to use with Brooks single rail saddles (such as the B17)
My seatpost is marked as 25.8mm diameter, will this fit?
The 25.8mm diameter refers to the section of the seatpost which goes inside the bicycle frame, but the top of the seatpost is swaged inwards to 22.2mm (7/8") which this clamp will fit onto.
