The Tri-1 is a marriage of our classic three-wheeled design with the very best modern componentry. The ‘fixed gear’ model is designed for simple, worry-free riding and its short 150mm cranks provide a more natural pedalling action for shorter riders or those with restricted leg movement.
The chrome riser handlebars put you in an upright position for the best visibility and comfort and a fully-enclosed chaincase protects you from the moving chain. In addition, it comes with the benefit of a secure parking brake and a powerful, low-maintenance enclosed hub brake. There is also the handy folding frame model for easy transportation and storage, with the folded trike fitting in most cars.
Add all this the luxury of a sprung gel saddle and the security of pedals with toe-clips and straps, and you have the perfect companion offering an unrivalled sense of stability and comfort that only a tricycle can provide.
The folding frame:
The hinged frame allows the trike to be folded quickly and reduce its length when storage space is at a premium. The frame also includes quick release fittings on the handlebar stem and seatpost to allow easy lowering, positioning, or removal of the handlebars and saddle to achieve the most compact package. A propstand is provided to keep the trike upright when folded.
The Tri-1 comes in the two frame sizes shown below, followed by their corresponding inside leg length range.

The frame size is the distance between the centre point of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
Leg length should be measured from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh (in inches) - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. For customers within the United Kingdom, your Pashley will arrive fully assembled and ready to ride. Each bicycle is carefully transported by a dedicated cycle courier, ensuring it reaches you in perfect condition — no tools required, and no large box to dispose of. Simply open the door and begin your first ride.
E.U. & U.S.A. Delivery – Carefully Crated
For our customers overseas, every Pashley is fully built and inspected at our factory before being securely packed into a robust shipping box. This ensures your bicycle arrives safely and in pristine order, ready for straightforward final setup and your first journey on a genuine hand-crafted English bicycle.
