'Pashley Cycles of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, has been hand-building English Bicycles since 1926. It has recently launched this superbly stylish and beautifully detailed edition, the Guv'nor, based upon the classic Path Racer. The Guv'nor's frame is constructed of Reynolds 531 tubing, giving strength and lightness. Lovely details such as the leather Brooks B17 Titanium saddle and North Road dropped handlebars, as well as the 28-inch gold-lined black alloy rims and cream tyres, add to the classic look and fascinating detail. You almost want to hang the Guv'nor on the wall as a piece of art. Damien Hirst wouldn't get!'
