The e-Prospect allows for a great number of riders to enjoy the pleasures and benefits of cycling, giving them peace of mind for when the ride may get a little tough. As the electric assistance begins automatically when the rider starts pedalling, this can be particularly comforting when setting-off at junctions or lights. Another plus for electric bikes for hire and fleet use is, unlike electric hire scooters, it is not necessary to hold a driver’s licence to hire and ride one!
As with our awarding winning ‘Prospect’ manual bike, the ‘e-Prospect’ features innovative anti-vandalism design features, a low step-over frame that is easy to mount, and a patented quick-release saddle adjustment that can be set to the rider’s height in seconds.
The frame geometry has been carefully designed to provide great ride quality and manoeuvrability, with Shimano hub brakes providing quick and secure stopping power. It is equally practical with its front carrier and elastic retainer strap - handy for carrying bags or clothing - and features chain and mudguards to protect the rider from greasy parts and puddle splashes.
The powerful motor is mid-mounted, ensuring the bike is well balanced, with the battery safely secured in a lockable compartment that is easy to access for maintenance and recharging. As with all our micromobility products, the e-Prospect has been designed to keep maintenance and operating costs to a minimum.

What are the benefits?
It is a common misconception that with an electric bike you will not get the benefits that you do riding a manually powered bike – but in fact, you can do. You still need to pedal to activate the assistance, so you are still building up your fitness. You are also often able to ride further than you would on a normal bike, so spend longer in the saddle building up your stamina.
For those riders who are a little nervous of tackling hills or going on longer cycle journeys, having the knowledge that you will have assistance when things get tough can be a great comfort. This can encourage some people to hire a bike to enjoy for fun and leisure, or to cycle to work instead of commuting by car.
