“The Townhouse Bicycle is simply the bicycle I wanted to own and live with – a piece of quiet luxury that brings beauty and simplicity to every journey, and to life at home.”
An elegant extension of the home. A connection to the city. A quiet celebration of slow travel.
Pashley and design house Considered Things have co-created a special edition model – The Townhouse Bicycle – blending timeless craftsmanship with thoughtful design to bring beauty, simplicity, and comfort to everyday journeys.
The frame is hand-built from legendary Reynolds 531 steel, finished in a historic, understated colour palette drawn directly from the interiors of the Stepney Townhouse. Subtle tonal contrasts and gold-accented details complement the bicycle’s refined form, while premium leather grips and a Brooks B17 saddle add warmth and texture. The geometry offers an upright, relaxed riding position that feels effortless and poised.
Every element has been chosen with care – from all-weather hub gears and brakes to puncture-resistant tyres and a clean, minimal silhouette. A bespoke waxed cotton and leather bag, handcrafted by Rural Kind in Wales, mounts neatly to the front porteur rack – utility made beautiful.
Hand-built in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Townhouse Bicycle embodies the shared philosophy of both makers: a reverence for enduring materials, traditional craftsmanship, and quiet elegance. Built to age gracefully and gather character with time, it’s a bicycle designed to be admired, ridden, and cherished – as beautiful at home as it is in motion.
| Frame Size | Inside Leg Length | Stand-over height |
| 20.5" | 29-33.5" | 31.5" |
| 22.5" | 31-35.5" | 33.5" |
| 24.5" | 33-37.5" | 35.5" (DTT) |
The Townhouse Bicycle comes in three frame sizes shown in the table, followed by their corresponding inside leg length range and stand-over height.
The frame size is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
Leg length should be measured from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh (in inches) - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. If your inside leg length falls in-between two frame sizes and you are unsure which size is best for you, please visit our Sizing Page for further guidance.
DTT stands for 'double top-tube', where an additional top-tube has been added to the frame.
The stand-over height is the height from the ground to the top of the top-tube. The Kingsman has a higher than average top-tube ("stand-over") and bottom bracket height. If your inside leg is at the lower end of a frame-size range, you may need to support yourself on tip-toe when stopping on your bicycle.
