How to buy

The Guv’nor GT is a product of distinction and has been inspired by the bikes ridden by the heroes of the Grand Tours in 1926, the year of Pashley’s inception. The warriors who battled with their steel framed racers across continents, over dirt road mountains and flat lands in all weathers. The Pashley Guv’nor GT pays tribute to the Epic performances of these racing pioneers. This special Grand Tour edition is a bike that will enable its rider to replicate the same epic routes raced by champions past and present with quintessential Guv’nor class.

The Guv’nor GT is hand-crafted from legendary Reynolds 531 steel tubing with classic Path-Racer geometry and Guv’nor essentials such as the classic North-Road handlebars, Brooks B17 saddle, British made leather grips, Westwood rims and Cream Schwalbe Delta tyres.

To capture the spirit of the Grand Tours, the Guv’nor GT comes with upgrades including wide range Shimano Nexus 8 speed internal hub gearing for varied terrain and gradients, complemented with powerful Shimano 6000 series roller brakes offering control and confidence on exhilarating descents whilst retaining the classic look. To further live up to the GT experience, this special edition also comes equipped with a leather frame protector, front dynamo light and two stainless steel double walled special edition handlebar mounted bottles complete with retro stainless steel cages paying homage to the 1920’s racer whilst ensuring that the modern rider can go the distance hydrated and ready to tackle any ride.

The Guv'nor comes in four frame sizes shown in the table, followed by their corresponding inside leg length range and stand-over height.

The frame size is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).

Leg length should be measured from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh (in inches) - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. If your inside leg length falls in-between two frame sizes and you are unsure which size is best for you, please visit our Sizing Page for further guidance.

DTT stands for 'double top-tube', where an additional top-tube has been added to the frame.

The stand-over height is the height from the ground to the top of the top-tube. The Gvu'nor has a higher than average top-tube ("stand-over") and bottom bracket height. If your inside leg is at the lower end of a frame-size range, you may need to support yourself on tip-toe when stopping on your bicycle.
