Elegantly engineered and beautifully balanced, the Pathfinder E blends handcrafted artistry with thoughtful modern touches to make every ride feel effortless. Its lightweight frame is hand-brazed using a refined combination of Reynolds 725, 631, and 525 butted steel tubing, with 3D-printed frame details that give it both strength and grace.
The quietly powerful 250Wh battery is seamlessly tucked inside the down tube for a sleek, uncluttered look — with the option to add a range extender discreetly to the bottle cage mount, offering up to 70% more distance for longer journeys.
At the heart of the ride is the reliable Mahle X30 rear hub motor, delivering smooth, intuitive assistance as you pedal. You can adjust the level of support easily via the minimalist IWOC control, subtly integrated into the top tube.
Whether you're navigating the city or taking time out in the countryside, the Pathfinder E keeps you comfortable and confident. Colour-matched full-length mudguards protect from the elements, while built-in twilight-sensing lights ensure visibility as daylight fades.
Lightweight, stylish, and reassuringly capable — the Pathfinder E is a modern expression of Pashley’s timeless elegance, ready to take you wherever you want to go.
The Pathfinder E comes in the three frame sizes shown below, followed by their corresponding inside leg length range.
Frame Size | Inside Leg Length |
Small | 25-33" |
Medium | 27-35" |
Large | 29-37" |
For full geometry measurements please Click Here
The frame size is the distance between the centrepoint of the cycle's bottom bracket (where the pedal arms extend from) and the top of the frame's seat tube (where the seatpost enters the frame).
Leg length should be measured from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh (in inches) - please note that this is a different measurement to your trouser inside leg length. If your inside leg length falls in-between two frame sizes and you are unsure which size is best for you, please visit our Sizing Page for further guidance.

A range extender is also available to add a further 70% range.
Can I ride the Pathfinder E on gravel paths as well as roads?
The Pathfinder E can be ridden on tarmac roads, as well as gentle forest trails and canal paths. Its has been designed to cover city streets and canal towpaths. It can also comfortably handle gravel cycle trails such as the Peak District Monsal trail, or the Cornish Camel Trail.
Can I adjust the power output?
Yes, the power control is integrated into the top-tube of the frame in a unique 3D printed steel housing. Power assist levels can be adjusted by pressing the button on the controller. This can be done whilst riding as well as when static.
What does the Pathfinder weigh?
Whilst each bicycle is hand-built and the weight could vary, on average the Pathfinder E will weigh 18kgs.
What is the charging time for the battery?
Our local store in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Traditional Cycle Shop, has a wide range of Pashleys you can view and test ride. You can also find other specialist Pashley dealers who have cycles in store to try via our dealer map.
Are the wheels tubeless ready?
Whilst we install inner tubes at the factory, the rims and tyres can be converted to be run without tubes. We recommend using a branded tubeless conversion system and seeking the assistance of a cycle mechanic to perform the change.
