‘Different by design, distinctive by nature’ - as true today as it was in 1926.

Pashley has always been a company of innovators, from the war-time work bikes and cobbled street classics to today, where we marry that authentic heritage and genuine craftsmanship with cutting edge manufacturing techniques and the demands of the modern rider.

Bespoke, British-built bicycles, no matter where or how you ride.

We are proud to be the longest-established British bicycle manufacturer and one of only three remaining here in the UK – designing and crafting every Pashley by hand from start to finish in our heritage workshop in the heart of England.

It is by combining this strong British heritage, an impeccable quality of hands-on design and manufacture combined with the urge to innovate that Pashley is able to be truly unique to this day.

This philosophy hasn’t changed as we ride into our Centenary year.

“It’s about offering cyclists a collection of bespoke, customisable and genuinely British-made bicycles that seamlessly blend heritage craft with cutting-edge technology, designed for all riders, no matter the terrain or distance. And doing that beautifully – marrying the elegance synonymous with Pashley with current trends and requirements," said Andy Smallwood, Pashley's CEO.

“When I walked into the Pashley factory for the first time, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up – the sound, sight and aroma of the steel tubes being machined, fabricated and finished into beautiful and versatile cycles. That combined with a highly experienced and passionate design team, all in one building, working closely together and able to quickly respond to needs and ideas, that’s something rather special.

In a world of off-shored commoditised bicycles, Pashley is distinctly different, and very proud of it.”

‘Manufacturers of every type of cycle’

From the moment William ‘Rath’ Pashley founded the company in Birmingham in 1926, before moving to our current premises in Stratford-upon-Avon in the 1960s, we at Pashley have been dedicated to hand-crafting high-quality bicycles, tricycles, and commercial carrier and cargo cycles to meet the diverse and evolving needs of our customers. Take a ride through our Heritage here.
